In the construction industry bitumen products are used for waterproofing on the positive side (external side) of a structure. These are applied by brush, trowel or airless spray in a seamless coating. To prevent stresses in the waterproofing an angled fillet of Heyen Barrier Mortar is installed at wall and floor junctions.

• Heyen Brush Coating is a ready to use one component sealing compound based on a rubber bitumen emulsion providing a waterproof and corrosion resistant protective coating.

• Heyen Thick Coating is a two component solvent free fibre armed latex ready to use emulsion thick coating suitable for applying on a wide variety of  building materials on the positive (external) side of a structure.
